The Last Semester
Here we go again, the last semester for the year is just around the corner. For some, this may mean the end to your university life and for others, it may just be one more to add to the list. But whatever it means to you, ensure that you make the best of it and that you are happy. So as I am preparing for my last semester as a university student, I thought I would give you all a few helpful hints.
'Eventhough it is the last semester and all you feel like doing is bludging, you still need to work really hard…the last thing you want, is to come back to complete a few subjects that you botched up, because you couldn’ t be bothered.
·In order to do this, you need to remain motivated. If you havn’t already, find something you like to do….dance, walk whatever…something that is not university, because you need an outlet from uni so you don’t get bogged down.
·I know it’s really hard, but try to find something about each subject that you like to do, even if it’s reading or writing etc…so then it doesn’t seem so bad when you sit down to do the work
·One of the best things to do at the start of each semester is to look at what your subjects and the assessment for them are and find out the purpose of each thing. It is proven that if a person understands the purpose of a task, they are more likely to do it. Anyway I hope this helps, have a good semester…but remember to have fun!
