    Kiama | Berry | Minnamurra Falls

  • Kiama

      Kiama is seaside south coast town about 40 km away from Wollongong and about 100 kms away from Sydney. It has a small population of just over 11,000 people which makes it the perfect destination to get away from the city.

      Kiama is well known for its many attractions, the famous blowhole being one of these. The blowhole is a rock formation that has been generated over hundreds of years from water wearing away at the rocks.kiama02.gif From the picture you can see the huge spray of water that shoots from out of the hole. It is well worth a look.

      While you are in the area why not visit the local wharf and fresh fish markets. kiama01 If you in Kiama why not do a spot of shopping. Kiama boasts a large number of arts & craft, aromatherapy, and souvenirs shops. These can be found along the main street (Terralong Street) and Collins Street where the Terrace Houses are situated.

      Kiama is great place to relax, hit the beach or do some shopping.

  • Berry

      Berry is small country town about 30 km away from Kiama. The town has a population of just over 500 people. The main attactions in Berry is the arts & craft stores, antiques shops and old fashion cafes spread out along the main street. berry01. Berry's antiques are a reminder of the past. Many hours can be spend sorting through loads of antiques. Everything from old cartoons that were treasured as a child to items that bring back memories of war.

      There is something for all ages at Berry. The arts and craft shops hold many unique hand crafted items that can not be found any where else. berry02.gif

      Most of Berry is farm land that is used for dairy farming. The area holds rich vegetation for grazing, thanks to the near by coastal waters and near by rivers. If you have the opportunity make sure you drop in and pay this little country town a visit.
